Lucas Decuypere, LLM, MSc. Mgmt and Economics is the CEO and President of Allegro. He is a serial entrepreneur, who successfully founded and exited Localtomorrow, Adagio (now iO). Lucas has more than 15 years of leadership, strategy and business development experience across the technology and lifesciences industry.
dr. Jorg Schelfhout, PhD, holds a Masters degrees in Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering. R&D manager. He spent a decade researching novel biopolymers for tissue regeneration as a postdoc at the PBM Group (Ugent), before switching to roles as R&D manager in the industry. Jorg leads the R&D at Allegro in the role of CSO and CTO.
Annie Vereecken, representing Heran BV is a leading biotech investor with early investments in Biocartis, Argenx, Ugentec and Cartagenia. She built out the Medhold group, with a focus on female fertility and pioneering with the NIPT-test. She holds a degree in pharmacy and clinical biology.
dr. Hélène Sabatel, PhD, representing Noshaq SA is a specialized life sciences investment manager. Prior to Noshaq, Hélène held a position as Tech Transfer Officer at the University of Liège. She has extensive experience in the field of IP and business development for life sciences companies.

Prof. dr. Frank Luyten, MD, MhD is a rheumatologist at UZ Leuven and director of Prometheus. He has been conducting research in regenerative medicine for over twenty years. Frank was a co-founder, scientific and medical advisor of TiGenix.
Prof. dr. Yves Henrotin, PT, MT, PhD is a specialist in musculoskeletal disease research and professor at Université Liège. He is the president of the Osteoarthritis Foundation, founder of Artialis, and member of OARSI and ICRS.
Ir. Alexander Van De Rostyne is far and foremost the most unique blend between creativity, engineering and the businessworld. Resulting in countless inventions and business ventures, such as Apple, Planet Internet, The Reference, Deliverect, and the first electric toy helicopter.
dr. Leo De Backer is a worldwide renowned equine orthopedic veterinarian. He served as the official vet for 6 Olympic games for multiple countries and has a global practice in the top equestrian segment.
